Sparqe Electric didn't start with a business plan — it started with a work ethic passed down before Blaine ever picked up a wire stripper.
Raised in St. George
Blaine has called St. George home nearly his entire life, graduating from Pine View High School in 2014 with a deep appreciation for the Southern Utah community.
A work ethic learned at home
His father ran a successful automotive repair shop in St. George for more than 20 years — not an electrician, but the source of the values that still define the business: solve it right, sweat the details, never cut corners.
Started from zero
Blaine entered the electrical trade as an apprentice with no prior experience, already knowing his goal was to one day own an electrical company.
Dixie Technical College
He completed the full Electrical Apprenticeship Program, earned his Journeyman Electrician license, and kept advancing until he became a licensed Master Electrician.

Blaine has called St. George home since the age of two. He entered the trade at 21 with no prior electrical experience and built his way up to Master Electrician — leading commercial, industrial, and residential projects across Southern Utah for more than a decade before founding Sparqe Electric.
